Quick and Easy Video Ideas for Beer Brands

Your ‘ordinary’, is your customers ‘extraordinary’.

Whenever we tell people we’re photographers, they say, “that sounds so cool!”

And it is, we love it, but of course there’s more to it (like writing blog posts :)

But that response is something a brand can lean into. People are fascinated by things that are different, but they don’t need to be extraordinary.

For a beer brand, that means showing off the process from start to finish, even with just phone footage of the steps, can engage and interest your customers. That labeling machine might be old hat to you, but it’s pretty freaking cool if you’ve never seen it before!

So here are some cool videos I’d like to see and how I think they’d reflect on your brand:

5 trendy video ideas for brewery social media

Social media content tips for breweries example of pouring beer
  1. raw ingredients = shows off quality

    • Stitch photos of each product together into a stop motion video

  2. how to properly clean a tank / keg / tap / glass = shows committment to excellence

    • Set up a timelapse of something you’re already doing

  3. bottling/canning and labeling = shows infrastructure and gadgetry that increases perceived cost

    • Simply film each part of the bottling/canning process and end on a hero shot of the beer

  4. notes on recipes and coming up with new ideas = demonstrates expertise

    • Have the brewer talk about what excites them about their creation

  5. collaborations and employees = creates connection because it humanizes what’s in the can / keg / tap

    • can just be an overview of everyday life at the brewery, or something more intimate like an employee spotlight.

We think what brewers do everyday is awesome. Keep up the good work! 🍻
